as of Jan 19, 2025 New Applicants for Membership Alpine Village Property Owners Association (AVPOA) The following describes the process for new residents who have purchased a property in Alpine Village and wish to join the Alpine Village Property Owners Association (AVPOA). On our main Home Page we have an introduction about Alpine Village and our association, the AVPOA. This membership is limited to the 112 homeowners of Plan 47, which also contains the parklands, island, beaches, trails. Only members of the AVPOA are granted the privelege of accessing our parklands, paths, beaches, and boat launch. Some of these are gated and locked. Also the opportunity (if available) to have a dock which is shared. This is the advantage of shoreline living, while the community membership shares the costs. We encourage new residents to contact the association, either via email, phone call or text, or use the Contact Us button on this website. A few steps will follow; 1. Contact us and provide your email and phone number. 2. Submit the Membership application form, this will be sent to you. 3. Agree to Terms and Conditions. 4. Pay the Dues/Fees. After contact, you will be sent the digital Membership Application form (a google doc form). If you require a hard copy of the Application Form please contact us at the number below. The Annual fees/dues must also be paid prior to final approval into the membership by the administration (Board of Directors). If you are considering a dock space for your boat, we have a limited number of slips and often there is a wait list. If this is a concern or condition on your property purchase, please contact us immediatley to discuss availability. There are a two gates where you will require a key for entry. There is a one time $30 deposit and this works on both the island and boat launch gate. We have few rules when becoming an association member, they are provided below where you can review them clearly. At the end of the application, you will be asked to consent to these; sending emails per Canada's Anti Spam rules (CASL) and agree to the Terms and Conditions via Acknowledgement at the end of the form. There are fee(s) when joining the association. These are to be renewed/paid annually and we encourage our membership to keep current with these fee(s). They cover the yearly expenses; utilities and taxes, to operate the association. 2025 Membership Fee Regular Membership $150.00 Boat and Dock slip $ 75.00 If you are seeking a dock space, both Membership and Boat/Dock fee applys $225.00 Boat Launch & Island Gate Key Deposit $30.00 Upon approval of your application, you may send your fee to; Our mission is to maintain the harmony of our community so we can all enjoy the parklands and beaches together.
